The Great Blue Hole is a giant marine sinkhole off the coast of Belize. It lies near the center of Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll 70 km from the mainland and Belize City. The hole is circular in shape, 318 m across and 124 m deep. It has a surface area of 70,650 square metres.

Where to go in Ambergris Caye

 An amazing place to visit.  A 30-minute water taxi ride from Ambergris Caye.  Much slower and laid back from Ambergris Caye. Dirt roads and golf carts. Excellent restaurants and bars. And some of the best diving I’ve ever experienced. Spending a day in Caye Caulker  is something you want to do. Where to go in Caye Caulker.

At the southern tip of Ambergris Caye is the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Hol Chan is Mayan for "little channel".  This sanctuary was officially established in 1987, and since then the return of all species of fish has been quite dramatic.

Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley is approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) south of San Pedro Ambergris Caye. It is the single most popular day trip from San Pedro, perfect for snorkeling or diving. Entertainment Ambergris caye

This dive shop is located right in the center of town on the beach next to the San Pedro Belize Express water taxi. The dive shop is a small family oriented Dive Shop and gives a family touch atmosphere.
